KUALA LUMPUR, 17 March, 2017 â Isuzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd has introduced a new variant into their lineup, the 3.0L D-Max single cab. This is the only 3.0L single cab pick-up available in Malaysia.
This 3.0L variant is the most powerful single cab in the country with a maximum output and torque of 177PS/380Nm.
Both 2.5L and 3.0L single cab are now fully equipped with advanced driving safety aids of any make in the segment. These safety features include Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Hill Start Assist (HSA).
The other prominent improvement is its new heavy duty leaf spring. The suspension aimed to better endure the load even when the vehicle is used under the harsh road conditions.
All D-Max single cab comes with bold and rugged front fascia that suit its purpose as a heavy duty vehicle. The new front bonnet, front grille and front bumper designs embrace the toughness of the vehicle and complement its overall look. To further enhance its exterior and interior look, the new 4×4 decal is designed for this car and it comes with a new meter cluster with Gear Shift Indicator (GSI).
Isuzu Malaysia Executive Director, Hajime Machimura said that by introducing the powerful variant, they will be able to better serve the needs of the users in Malaysia. This type of vehicle is mainly used for heavy duty purposes, hence they are confident that this new variant will be welcomed by the professional users.

This car is available in Magnum White Solid. The price starts at RM84,543.40 for 2.5L and RM90,250.40 for 3.0L (on-the-road price inclusive of GST and insurance). The new 3.0L and refreshed 2.5L D-Max single cab pick-up are set to exceed performance standards in their categories.
